Book Recommendation/Reading List

One of my favorite things to do in the world is reading. Spending copious amount of time investigating crimes, learning about a new culture and traveling to someplace new brings me so much joy. In my younger days, I used to read a new book every two days. However, due to things like university, Netflix and social media I kind of lost that habit. This year I had a goal of reading 40 new books excluding the books I read for school or to teach. I have now read 17 books and need to step it up a bit. 😉 In order to meet this challenge, I have compiled a list of books and am going through them piece by piece. Some of them are also impulsive purchases like Circe by Madeline Miller (Which was fabulous btw) or books I bought second hand. This list, however, is written down in various places like my phone, journal, notebooks or my Amazon wishlist. Therefore, I thought I would compile the whole thing together and post it up here for anyone who wants to join me (Summer is here after all). Since I have had a 6-month head start please don’t feel the need to have a goal of 40 books. This is mostly to keep me accountable and to give you all some inspiration in case you need to get some books. 🙂

This list is a combination of books I’ve read and books I Can’t wait to read. I will italicize the books I’ve already read.
